Senior Project Manager, Finance (Leading Insurance Firm)

About the Job

A Leading Insurance Firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Finance) on an Initial 1-Year Contract to oversee and execute regional finance transformation projects end-to-end.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for finance transformation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance, IT teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare and present regular project updates and identify potential risks impacting project delivery
• Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains within the finance function, particularly related to IFRS 17 compliance and reporting

 

Requirements:

• Recent end-to-end project management within financial services, specifically in the insurance sector
• Proven experience with IFRS 17 implementation or finance transformation initiatives is required
• Strong understanding of finance principles, regulatory compliance, and reporting standards
