As a Project Management Officer, I oversee our entire portfolio of collective projects and programs. My role involves analysing financial data and working closely with different departments to ensure that all leaders are up to date on where each project stands in the development process. What I love most about my job is being the glue that holds everything together—I enjoy gathering information from various sources and presenting it in engaging ways that help drive our projects forward.
One of the biggest challenges in my career was learning to say no. I used to feel overworked and stressed, fearing that I wasn’t producing my best work because I was trying to do too much. Over time, I shifted my mindset to focus on delivering quality over quantity, which meant I had to start setting boundaries. It wasn’t easy at first, but now I can confidently prioritise my tasks. Outside of work, I love knitting scarves while watching TV, even though all I can knit is a scarf! My decision to join ECMS was cemented during the interview process, where the team made me feel reassured and confident—I knew this was a place where I could grow, learn, and not be afraid to make mistakes.
